Young Politicians

Cllr Lucinda Yeadon

Cllr Lucinda Yeadon (Kirkstall) arranged for children from Hawksworth Wood Primary School to have a debate in the Council Chamber at Leeds Civic Hall.

Lucinda said: "The children were a credit to Hawksworth Wood and a pleasure to work with. I was impressed by the standard of debate."It's really important for children to understand how politicians make decisions. Hopefully, some of them will be inspired to make their own views heard in the future."

Promoted by Ray Collins, General Secretary, the Labour Party, on behalf of the Labour Party, both at 39 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0HA.
